6.23.23 (day 23 - summer of poetry)

i wonder if thoughts of me ever occupy your mind.

do they distract you from what you're doing?

do they make you reminisce?

when our song comes on the radio,

when you look at that silly tattoo,

when a girl at the bar orders my favorite drink,

in those moments do you think of me?

do you wonder what could’ve been,

or do you not even care?

do you ever miss me?

<<<do you ever have to stop yourself from wanting to call?

do you think about what you’d say if i answered?>>>

do i still have a hold on your heart,

Or have you given it to someone else?

do you think of me,

or have you forgotten about me?
